Incentive planners now have a new option to appeal to the seriously athletic recipi- ents in their programs. Foot Locker Gift
Card Sales has launched gift cards for Eastbay, bringing branded cards for the largest
retailer of team athletic footwear, apparel,
fan gear, uniforms, and sports equipment to
the incentive market.
Dennis Borst, president and COO of Foot
Locker Gift Card Sales and Patriot Market-
ing Group, emphasized that the new offering
would be especially of interest to athletes and
members of sports teams, adding that East-
bay’s product offering “is totally different”
from Foot Locker’s product lines.
“The footwear they sell is the actual
game-worn footwear for every sport,” he
says. “They specialize in equipment worn
when playing sports and the apparel offered
includes team uniforms.”
The gift cards will be redeemable online
and via catalogs, and available in denomina-
tions of $25, $50, and $100.
“We can also issue in any denomination
from $5–$500,” says Borst, as well as cards
that do not show any denominations.
The cards come in traditional plastic format as well as digital eCards, and Borst adds,
“For the past two years, eCards have outsold
plastic with regards to Foot Locker.”
